Owner, Kim Hassan, a former corporate attorney left the bustling lifestyle of Washington, DC to gain peace and to finally learn to relax. She relocated to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica to a small town named Playa Negra (Black Beach). But before Kim leaned into her Pura Vida life, she embarked on her passion project, mecca.
Mecca is located in Playa Negra on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. When you land in San Jose at SJO airport, you are in the central region of the country. There are several options for travel.
